Since February 1, Eveline started as a Risk & Compliance Consultant at Protify. She is a young lady with a broad interest. After studying International Relations and International Organization, she completed the Master Crisis & Security Management. After that she has held various positions at her previous employer, she is now looking forward to helping clients with her analytical eye. She is making private plans for her next hike vacation to Kyrgyzstan.
Fights are increasingly taking place online
Eveline started her studies in International Relations and International Organization in 2014, followed by a master's in Crisis and Security management. The security aspect attracted her a lot, politics is inextricably linked to (online) security: 'Meanwhile, a fight is not only with guns anymore, but also online.' indicates Eveline.
Eveline wants the world to become a safer and more aware place, you can only do that if you start with a grip on your own organization. 'You can want to save the world, but you're not a superman. By helping companies, I can do my part.'

After her studies, Eveline started her traineeship at Motiv Academy. A company that builds bridges between young graduates and the demand from the business world, to prepare them for a cybersecurity career. She obtained several certificates here, such as ISO27001, Certified Ethical Hacking and GIAC Security Essentials. She worked several departments here and then started working as an Incident and Problem manager. She looked at how the process could be improved, to prevent incidents from happening again.
Focus on ISO 27001
Eveline came in contact with Danielle (de Vaal), this immediately felt very good. So good, that she may now call herself part of Protify as Risk & Compliance Consultant, where she will first focus on ISO 27001.
Eveline feels right at home, we work hard in an open atmosphere and there is room for fun. 'Because we are a small team, there is really room to think along and ask why something was done. I think that is important. And it's great to see how proud people are of their products.' She already noticed that Protify is driven, to be able to make a real difference with their clients in a personal way.
In a few months she wants to be able to really help her customers and solve cases in a smarter way. So that she can make a difference for her customers and that Protify is happy to have hired her.
Eveline just moved in with her partner, cat and Romanian dog. She loves to hike in nature with her dog, preferably in the mountains in summer, so Kyrgyzstan is at the top of her wish list for her next adventure. Besides this she likes playing board games and testing new dishes and recipes.
